Demining Prodder
The Mine Demining Prodder is designed to assist deminers and Bomb Technicians to locate Mines and UXOs (Unexploded Ordnance) buried at depths up to 200mm.
The Prodder is small, lightweight and can be easily stored and carried in pouches or pockets.
The product is suited for military and civilian use.
The long Prodder is designed to perform a wider and longer area search while the user is standing. The prodder can be folded while not in use.
The short prodder is usually used after the rough location of the mine or UXO is identified and the deminer kneels or lies down in front of the mine and performs a detailed search to uncover the mine.
Demining Prodder can be used in Counter Mine, UXO and Counter IED operations, and is mandatory equipment for any, Sapper, Deminer and Bomb technician.
